Either of these 2 short Mother's Day poems are suitable for a Mother's Day card message.
These poems are a prayer and wish for blessings on the mother.
The first one is asking 4 verses, for a total of 16 lines.
The second is only 6 short lines.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers - every day!
Mothers deserve more than one day a year. That's why I wrote this poem asking God to bless our mothers always.
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers - every day!
39. Mother's Day Blessing by Paul Berchtold, January, 2011
Dear Mother, I love you deep and dearly,
I thank the Lord, you're his gift truly,
For me you are the very best mother,
I wouldn't want any other.
God made you strong, wise, and kind,
To feed my heart, my soul, my mind,
God gave you love that keeps on giving,
And makes our lives so well worth living.
Mothering takes the best of years,
Work and duty, sweat and tears,
The least I can do is often pray,
That God bless you in every way.
God grant you blessings overflowing,
His love in you, keeps on growing,
How can I repay you, what can I say?
God bless you always - Happy Mother's Day!

This next short Mother's Day poem is from a longer
mother's love poem I wrote titled, "Only You."
134. Daily Blessing by Paul Berchtold, May, 2011
A family needs one another,
Only you can be our mother.
Fathers have an important part,
Only you can touch the heart.
As the sun goes from east to west
Every day mother, may you be blest.
